1. About us

"Wine Makers Show" (the "Site") is operated by DFRT Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (the "Company", "we", "us"). By using the Site, placing an order, or downloading a resource, you agree to these terms.

2. The content

The articles, podcast episodes, glossaries, videos, illustrations and PDFs published on the Site are owned by DFRT Limited or licensed to us. You may read, listen to and share them freely for personal use. You may not republish, resell, or train machine-learning models on them without prior written consent.

Brand names, logos, recipes and turns of phrase you'll find in interviews remain the property of the interviewee and may not be reused commercially.

3. The shop

The shop offers physical goods (caps, posters) and digital goods (gift cards). Most physical items are made on demand by our print-on-demand partner and shipped from the production facility nearest you.

• Prices are shown in euros (€), VAT included where applicable. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the destination country.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Production time for made-on-demand items is typically 2–5 working days, plus shipping time of 2–10 working days depending on the destination zone.
• Title and risk pass to you when the courier delivers the order.

4. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Under EU consumer law you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on standard physical goods purchased online.

Made-on-demand items (most of the shop) are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive — they are personalised to your order and produced specifically for you. We will, however, replace any item that arrives damaged, defective, or visibly different from the product page. Take a photo within 14 days of receipt and email us at winemakersshow@gmail.com — we will arrange a free replacement or a refund.

Gift cards are digital products and are non-refundable once delivered. They do not expire.

5. Lead magnets and newsletter

If you submit your email to download a PDF (e.g. the wine glossary or the wine books guide), we add you to a low-volume mailing list. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email. See the Privacy Policy for the details.

6. Academy and external links

Our Academy lives at academy.winemakersshow.com. Its own terms apply when you enrol there. External links on the Site (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, partner sites) are provided for convenience — we are not responsible for the content of third-party sites.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to: send unsolicited communications; reverse-engineer or scrape at industrial scale; attempt to disrupt the service; or infringe anyone's rights. Be cool, basically.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. For paid orders, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the order in question. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email will be brought before the competent courts of Hong Kong. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you retain the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, and you can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

10. Updates

We may update these terms — for example when we add new shop categories or fulfilment partners. We update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify the newsletter.
